Selection Criteria for Surrey Teams
Surrey County AA appoints a Team Manager for each age group at each meeting. The Team Manager will be responsible for selecting the team and for informing the athletes involved. We set out below the criteria that will be used in selecting teams. It is essential that they are provided with up to date information for eligible athletes before they make their selections. The county website displays the known best performances for eligible athletes; therefore, if anyone thinks their performances are missing they need to inform the statisticians.
To be eligible for selection an athlete must have a current Surrey county qualification (see below) and must be eligible to compete in competitions held under UKA rules. Therefore they must have a current England Athletics registration.
